If you have any questions you’d like answered about Celiac Disease, food, or almost anything, please send them in and I will be prompt about answering them!
I would love to hear from others who have tried Gluten-Free foods, but I hope to put up a review of the following products tonight:
Udi’s bread (Wholegrain, Sandwich Bread, Cinnamon and Raisin)
Udi’s Bagles (Plain, Cinnamon and Raisin)
Glutino Crakers (Plain, Cheddar and Multigrain)
Biscotti ((forgive me, I don’t have the brand infront of me, but they’re Chocolate and Walnut))
And Miranda has a recipe for simple sushi!
Hopefully these will be up before midnight tonight.
Again, I apologize for the long silence, college tends to come with homework.
Thank you and stay healthy!
We’ll be reporting in on the last few days tonight!
Miranda and I made a simple meat and veggie dish, sushi from things you probably have at your local market, and she tried out some of my favorite gluten-free things!
To be honest, I haven’t had glutenous foods around me like, in my room, in ages and I’m not going to lie, I’m freaked out. It’s not so much that it’s going to run over and eat me or something, but it’s the fact that the last time someone baked a cake with me in the room my throat started closing up and I had to bolt.
I’m not sure Miranda quite understands just yet how bad some people have reactions to this junk, but she’s open to changing her diet, when she doesn’t have to.
Which means a lot to me. Especially because, as she said, she likes cooking for a lot of people. Which means I get to show her the best things I’ve found (ike the fried rice and such).
It’s hard to go Gluten-Free, I’ll be honest about that one. And it takes a lot of commitment and reading, but the food is worth it when you find the good stuff.
So, if I may take this moment to thank Miranda for making a big lifestyle change like this, I will.
Thank you <3
